Dear Lord, “I do believe, please help me overcome my unbelief.” Mark 9:24

When do I discover the most? During the times of greatest pain. During the times when I am most lost. Faith shines brightest in the darkness. My faith grows most during those dark times, when I see what’s most important to me, when I know I can’t accomplish those important things, when I see Your strength and love taking care of those important things. When I see your strength continue where mine has left off, that’s where my faith grows. That’s where I discover the most. Thank you.

“I do believe, please help me overcome my unbelief.” Mark 9:24.

Lord, please give me the strength to choose to believe. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. In all my paths, I choose You. I choose to learn about the faith that you are teaching to me.

Lord, “I do believe, please help me overcome my unbelief.” Mark 9:24.

Hebrews 11 is a chapter on faith. In it, I read about the faith of so many of my heroes. What great examples I have! Now I know that I am never alone in my struggles. Now I know that You are there for me. Please help me to see, hear, and know how you take care of me. Please help me to remember it. Please help me to share it. Please give me the strength to repeat it for others.

“I do believe, please help me overcome my unbelief.” Mark 9:24.

Thanks be to God because I know that You always have, You currently are, and You always will be helping me.
