The ultimate measure of all of us lies in our deeds, not in what we think

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Martin Luther King Jr.

And, lest we never forget what Joseph from the bible taught us. We must prepare ourselves during the times of bounty so that we can survive during the years of famine.

What are we doing in this moment that will shed a beautiful light during the years to come? Building relationships? Helping coworkers be sucessful at work? Helping the needy out of the fire? Sharing from our own abundences? Helping the children to grow?

How can we take the pain of the present moment and turn it into the confident expectations of a great future?
